Donna Tierney, Jermain Defoe's heartbroken ex-wife, has openly criticized the woman she believes Jermain left her for.

Alisha LeMay, the woman in question, is alleged to have attended their extravagant wedding last year. Donna has made it clear that she has no intention of reconciling with Jermain.

Their marriage fell apart in the New Year when Donna claimed to have discovered a romantic card from another woman, confirming her suspicions of his affair.

Jermain Defoe, the former England forward, married Donna in June of the previous year, but their relationship reportedly deteriorated mere months later.

Donna expressed her feelings of being publicly devalued and disrespected by Jermain on multiple occasions through her social media.

Despite the passage of time, the 40-year-old is still deeply affected by the situation and has recently posted another critical message on Instagram.

Donna, aged 40, posted the following message over the weekend: "She was the better option because I was never an option. Ladies, if you make yourself an option, that's all you'll ever be."

This isn't the first time Donna has spoken out about their separation. Earlier this year, she explained her perspective online, stating, "My love for Jermain, our vows, and our marriage were 100% genuine for both of us.

I was a devoted wife, but it takes two people to make a marriage work, no less and no more, and his infidelity eventually led to the breakdown of our marriage."

Jermain and Donna tied the knot in a fairytale wedding in June of the previous year, with photographs from their special day offering a glimpse into the festivities.

The former footballer, now 40, and the beauty therapist celebrated their union at the charming country estate of Cliveden House in Berkshire, with over 300 guests in attendance.

Jermain and Donna, who became engaged in the summer of 2021, enjoyed a three-day celebration at the venue.

However, rumors began circulating in December of the same year that the couple had separated, as they spent Christmas apart.

While Jermain was in St Lucia, Donna remained in Glasgow with her family. He was also seen without his wedding ring in social media photos, and Donna promptly reverted to using her maiden name, Tierney, on her own social media profiles.

According to The Sun's report earlier this year, the local registry office had no record of Jermain and Donna's wedding at Cliveden House in Berkshire, as would typically be expected.

Their wedding was featured in OK! magazine, but a source revealed that the couple hired their own photographer for the event, rather than using one from the publication.

The source explained, "It's all a mystery. They didn't allow the magazine to have their own reporter and photographer at the wedding at Cliveden House.

Instead, they had their own photographer and provided the pictures to the magazine, subsequently granting an interview to one of their reporters."
